A compassionate society should have modest safety nets to give a helping hand to those who fall on hard times. But this level of social spending at some point will not be maintainable.
We as a society love to throw stones at alcohol and tobacco taxes as the bastions of evil, yet when revenues decrease because of a rate increase, there are few who are honest enough to admit the revenue shortfalls can be directly attributed to the increases.
Again, financial problems harken back to looking to government as a first step to solving all of society's problems. The way governments spend revenues is unsustainable.

The more restrictions and regulations has resulted in more politicians and special interests simply "gaming the system" to find ways around the the FEC. The process could be simplified by removing the restrictions and requiring full public disclosure.

First, The federal government should leave education funding to the states. Financial Aid in the form of affordable loans, I support. I do not believe that providing funding for people who are in the country illegally should be tolerated. There are other immigrant groups of people who com tot he U.S. and do so by following the rules and not gaming the system.

Reducing emissions and waste should be done because it simply is the right thing to do. We should practice good stewardship of our environment and resources. Climate Change, also referred to as "Global Warming" has manifested evidence lately that it is nothing more than a sham and means for a few marxist liberals to grab power.

No e) Do you support the state's use of affirmative action?
No f) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in New Hampshire's anti-discrimination laws?
No g) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in New Hampshire's anti-discrimination laws?
Marriage is a function of the church and a religious rite. It is hypocritical for a state to sanction same-sex-"marriage" while insisting on a separation of church and state. All people under the law should have equal rights to contract with one another for purposes of affairs relating to ones personal relationship.
If elected, I will join with like-minded legislators to roll back these excessive fees and taxes which has hampered jobs in New Hampshire. I would like to see families have more alternatives and choices in education I would like to roll back a number of nanny-state laws that have been passed.
